Darshi and Oshi were excellent hosts. From the minute I arrived it felt like home and Darshi made sure I had the best stay possible. Even though I only stayed for one night it was a very wholesome experience. I enjoyed our conversations a lot and Darshi cooked a delicious meal for me. Thank you for everything!

Taavetti is a small boutique style hotel but is actually newly refurbished in execllent quality. The place is very clean amd tidy and the room was excellent. Its quiet and the staff are excellent neat and well mannered. We were received in an excellent way especially after a 2 hour drive from colombo. We were offered fresh juice and a cool towel while checking in. Checking was straight forward and easy. The hotel has its own access to a beach and restairant. We mainly had breakfast there. Its a set menu breakfast that gives u a choice of english french and asian breakfasts. The location of the hotel is not where all the 5* hotels are but beaches are beautiful in most places and Taavetti has a nice stretch of beach with seating and umbrellas

Clean and cozy place directly at the beach with very friendly hosts. Our room didn't contain A/C but the fan was accurate for good sleep. Free sunbeds and hammocks available outside for the guests. Recommended !

Fab location. Indika and his team were super friendly and warm. We felt totally at home. We were at galle only a night but this was perfect. The room was clean and neat and so was the bathroom. The location was incredible. I've never been so close to the ocean. The cafe lunch fish and prawn curry was yum and reasonably priced. And the cafe is just lovely to sit and have a beer and watch the ocean waves just 10 feet away. It's just a 10 min ride to galle town and tuk tuk are super easy to get. Very happy with our decision to stay here. Will come again if ever in the area. Tip: if taking the coast train from colombo the station boosa is just 1km from the guest house rather than galle which is 7. So good to get off here. No worries it you get off at galle. It's like i said a ten min tuk tuk ride. Little tip: go early morning to galle and walk the empty streets and see morning slowly unfold in the Town and walk on the ocean walk boundary wall. It's beautiful.

Amazing location just a few steps and you are at the beach. Uncrowded beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. I got one of the rooms which was large and had a comfy bed. The best owner and helpful staff. restaurant/bar view on the ocean just amazing! Really best value for the money. I truly recommend it !!
