Super quiet, staff is so nice, generous and always happy to support. The place is so peaceful and it’s a good way to cut yourself from the world, spend quality time with your loved ones and relax! I have even proposed my girlfriend in this beautiful place as everything was gathered for this unique moment! I recommend 100% this lovely place and we will come back for sure 😍😍

After 10 days backpacking around Sri Lanka, Maritime Nest was the perfect place to relax for a few quiet days. The cabanas are newly built, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The gardens and pool are delightful and the food at Panchi restaurant is excellent. The breakfasts, in particular, are delicious and plentiful. Most importantly we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well. Madura, his family and great team of staff were fabulous hosts. Madura made helpful suggestions for local sights and activities and was always responsive to our queries. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local Turtle Sanctuary, a mindful and ethical way to experience these amazing creatures. The beautiful almost deserted beach can be reached via a short track and, whilst the sea is too rough for swimming, there is a delightful rock pool nearby. Very highly recommended.​ Thank you to Madura and his team of staff - we wish you every success with your new business.

We stayed two nights and it was awesome! So friendly staff and the hole villa is very clean and the pool was amazing. Just a few meters away from the beach! Can only recommend this accommodation to everyone.

The location was very nice, the bed was finally big enough and eveything was very clean. The hospitality was just perfect and we felt right at home. Unfortunately we could only book for one night, would have loved to stay longer. Would 100% recommend to book this place.

This is an idyllic place to spend nice and relaxing days in the south coast! Located in a beautiful long quiet white-sand beach , secluded from the hectic beaches nearby. The property is beautiful and comfortable, great pool to complement your sea swim, very helpful and kind staff and great food. We spent 3 nights like in a dream! the hit of our two week trip to Sri Lanka. Don’t miss it!

We enjoyed our stay here :) apartment was clean and comfortable. Host was very nice and helpful. He recommend us a lot of places where to go and what to do and rented us a scooter. We had delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful beach is just a few meters away. You can’t swim because of big waves but you can walk and see turtles. A lot of good restaurants is around. It is also suitable for longer stays. We stayed for a whole week. You will have everything you need here :) we really recommend.

This place has the best location in Tangalle area. You can drive easily to Tangalle or Hiriketya or Dickwella and explore the beaches. The best beginners surfing beach is also really close - Kudawella. Our room was spacious, had really good and quiet AC, with nice balcony and kitchen area. Very clean, good shower and extremely nice host. There are several family restaurants nearby, we can really recommend The Boat Kitchen and Athena Seafood - great authentic food freshly made with really reasonable price (we were off-season). We came for one night but decided to stay 7 nights instead - because we felt good here and great place to stay. Not so turisty as Hiriketiya and everything is still so near by!
