Everything - my favourite stay in Morocco! A relaxing atmosphere overall. Spacious, beautifully decorated room with a large shower. The rooftop terrace was a peaceful spot to read and unwind. Delicious breakfast and the kindest host, too!

Definitely best experience ever! My room was much bigger than I expected. I had 3 windows and 2 doors to the huge garden balcony which was only for me! Wow 😍 I travelled many countries and stayed many hotels until now. But by far this riad gave me a lot of happiness. This riad has a swimming pool on the second floor. It is small but I used it for whole afternoon by myself.😃 And I truely relaxed well. The staff built a parasol for me and took care of my using facility very well. The another staff also gave me free breakfast when I arrived early morning there. It is a very kind behavior! It has a beautiful view terrace on the third floor. You can relax and overlook the medina and the sea at the same time there!😍 But please do not argue there at night 🙄. One French couple was arguing in that beautiful terrace at night .. why?...please don't do that when you stay there.. This raid has not so many rooms , so it means not so many guests in a day. Which means most of facilities are all yours and all staffs will take good care of you! 😄 First floor's whole garden ,second floor's swimming pool, third floor's terrace. They are all yours! The Riad is located right inside of the historic wall. Even I could see the fortress from my bathroom window!😆 Anyway it is definitely worth to stay here. As I stayed this Riad, I love Asilah. I have only happy memory in Asilah. Thank you for giving me happiness 😃 Thank you! kind staffs Karam and Mouad. Someday I really would like to visit this riad and Asilah again. Inshallah😄

Communication with the host was excellent. The upper terrace has a stunning view of the ocean where you can watch the sunset. There is a private outdoor area which is perfect for relaxing/eating/sunbathing. Dar el Maq has the perfect blend of rustic luxury.

What a fabulous house to stay in - the photos don’t do it justice! The house is so situated conveniently within the Medina. Adel (the property manager) was incredibly helpful during our stay & nothing was too much trouble for him. Being able to arrange for breakfast & dinner to be served at the house by their charming cooks was an added bonus. I am looking forward to a return visit!
