We loved everything about the property! It was so gorgeous, all of the little details were perfect. It felt so traditional and also so safe. the place was very clean the whole time. It is local area and also very quiet and peaceful. The staff were the real highlight though, especially the owner Mr.Mohammed! They couldn't do enough for you and we felt like we were staying at a home away from home. In addition, Breakfast was abundant, homemade and tasty; the location was very central, in the medina, within very short distance to all city attractions, but at the same time quiet and accessible. We arrived at nighttime, got picked up and was guided right to the door by staff. the team was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay..

Dar Shâan is set in the Rabat Medina district of Rabat, and is 200 metres from Laalou Avenue. Boasting a terrace, free WiFi is featured. Property is 10-minute walk away of the beach.

Our stay was amazing. Everything was great – the cleanliness of the property, the amenities, and the excellent breakfast. And the staff, they were incredibly kind. The guy who welcomed us and the other one who served us breakfast – they’re out of this world. Extremely polite, always smiling, and their boss should make sure to keep them and, of course, pay them well. Well done, guys. I’ll definitely recommend the Riad to my friends.

The highlight of our stay were the staff. From the smiling housekeeping women, to the softly singing cook, everyone made sure we felt welcome and had anything we might need. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and while some tiles are chipped, it only intensifies the charm and further adds to the rustic look. The room was also very satisfactory, both in terms of size and comfort, and the amenities. The cleaning was done daily, and the toiletries were replaced. The décor gives off a cozy atmosphere. The bed was large and comfortable, and while the room is not gigantic, it provides more than enough space to spread out after a day of exploring Rabat. Speaking of exploring, the riad is 10 minutes away from the Rabat Ville central train station, and most of the museums and gardens are within 30 minutes walking distance. The building itself is located in a nice street filled with potted shrubs and greenery, just off the main street of the Medina. The breakfast was served on time, and it encompasses sweet pastries, jam and honey, butter, yogurt, tea and coffee, as well as fresh fruit. It was filling, and kept us fed nicely until lunchtime. Finally, like in most riads, there's a beautiful rooftop terrace, as well the sitting area in the central courtyard. Unlike other riads, this one has a vibe of a real hotel, while not sacrificing it's charm and intimacy. One thing to also note is that we had no problems with noise, which was a problem we had in all other riads we stayed at.

Everything! This accomodation deserves a better ranking. It‘s not a 3-star but at least 4-star Riad. You have everything you could wish for in this Riad. We were welcomed nicely, with a tee and were shown and explained the nearest places and best spots to visit. The host is speaking very well English, besides French. This riad has only space for 6 rooms (bigger and smaller), which makes it so special and cosy. Our room was very clean, being on the roof top is like you are out of town. The Medina is busy and full of people, but when you are in this Riad it was peacefull and quiet. Plenty of food for breakfast. The location is great, right in the middle of the old Medina. You can walk easily to the old Casbah, to the Ocean, the Marina, take the tram… We travelled by car, but no problem, there are at least 3 parking spots right outside Medina and near to the accomodation. It’s just a question of the price for the parking. Looking back we were very sad, we didn’t stay longer because on our 14days trip - the Riad Dar Soufa was the best accomodation!! Thank you a lot and all the best !!

Redouane and his brother were exceptionally kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, perfect for meeting and chatting with other travelers. The place is spotless and very comfortable. Absolutely recommended!

A lovely and calm place right in the middle of the Medina (the old part of the town). Everyone was very friendly and I felt very comfortable.

Very clean and tidy, extremely good location i did not have to take a taxi because all the major landmarks and locations were within walking distance The first night I stayed I overslept the breakfast time due to being ill the day before and the host Safa and her sister insisted that they will make me breakfast at 12.30, and I was very thankful Very nice hosts and if I was to visit Rabat I would look no further for a Riad, it is also beautifully designed and also has a homely feel
