The views were amazing and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Overall, we had a very nice experience staying in Gente D'Aqui. Special thanks to Sara, who was our host at that time, and was very friendly and looked after our family very well. Prior to travelling we also had a lot of help and assistance from Joao, who answered all of our questions promptly, in a very kind and patient manner. Gente D'Aqui is well-located for visiting all the tourist highlights on the island of Sao Tome.

Wonderful staff, just so beautiful! Thanks to Dona Lourdes for the fantastic food and the spontaneous birthday cake, so incredibly yummy 🫶🏼 the bay is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, the pool is always clean and refreshing … the bungalows are just perfect!!!!

We loved absolutely everything there. It is on a perfect spot, in a lovely village close to an amazing surf spot. Spacious and very well equipped. From the first day we felt home. It was the clearest place we stayed during our whole stay in the country! Our flight was leaving at 7 am, but we got coffee and fruits at 4:45. Thank you so much! Wifi good, water hit, bed comfortable, very quiet location.

Booked here for my friends and me this week and our stay was wonderful! Kenito & his staff go out of their way to assist clients. Note however if you are an English-only speaker, communication with the staff is going to be hard. Great all-around services otherwise!

A very good starting point for Sao Tome. It is a bit outside the center and hence relatively quiet. The hosts are very nice and the house is well maintained, clean, with spacious rooms. I would always come back here.
