What made this hotel truly exceptional was our lake view from the large and spacious balcony and the amazing breakfast. Not only the food was amazing at the breakfast, but the view overlooking the lake with perfect lighting, and outdoor dining--really perfection! We also enjoyed the private beach access. It is a nice plus that there are toilet facilities at this beach. Not only did we swim and sun during the day, but we went to the beach at night to watch the Perseids meteor shower and it was quite the show. The lakeside was quite dark with no ambient lighting so the viewing conditions were ideal. Thank you for the hospitality, we would come again in a heartbeat!

We recently spent five nights at Gasthof Steinbichler, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully located on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee, offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. It’s a peaceful and picturesque setting that immediately makes you feel relaxed. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and waking up to the stunning natural scenery each morning was a highlight. We especially enjoyed taking early morning walks in the beautiful areas around the hotel — such a peaceful way to start the day. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality really added to the experience. Breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning, with a nice variety of options. We particularly appreciated the freshly baked bread made by the staff, which added a personal touch. Dinner was also very good, offering a great selection of Austrian dishes in a cozy and traditional atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring the Salzkammergut region, with plenty of activities nearby — from hiking and swimming to visiting nearby towns like Bad Ischl and Gmunden. Overall, we loved every minute of our stay and would absolutely return. Gasthof Steinbichler is a place we’ll remember fondly and will definitely be our first choice next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended!

Located in Unterach on the shores of Attersee Lake, Hotel Stadler am Attersee has a private beach and a large lawn for sunbathing. Guests can use free WiFi in the lobby. Very pleasant facility, extremely helpful and competent staff. Great location, excellent room. The hotel facilities and rooms were extremely comfortable, functional and perfectly clean. The view from the room is excellent. Excellent sleep on a comfortable bed. The all-day diet was accommodating. There are many places to sit quietly with a view in the hotel and its surroundings. An excellent place for rest and relaxation. Parking near the hotel. Breakfast and everything from the menu were excellent. The hotel has a very pleasant family atmosphere.
