Steps away from the bus station. Amongst the hotels in the area, it has the best view of the lake! The staff, Savina, Alexander, and all the rest were always trying to find ways to assist you. Stephan, the manager or owner was kind, courteous, and hospitable. Most of them speak English, so no problem with communication. Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of fruits and with varied choices of bread, cheese, jams, cereals, yoghurt, nuts, tea! I appreciate the upgrade and the discount they gave me for my 50th bday stay!

With city views, this accommodation features a patio. The apartment has family rooms. This property was amazing. The view from the house was incredible. The facilities were great, the beds comfortable & kitchen well equipped. You would need a car (preferably otherwise it could be tricky) to get there as it is a little way from main towns.

The accommodation is so cosy and only a short walk to restaurants, shops and the train station. You can catch a bus or walk about 15 mins to Brienz where you can then get on the Brienz Rothorn Bahn (a must do!). It also doesn't take long getting to Grindelwald via the train line, with only 1 changeover.

It was very clean and nicely decorated, with new appliances and a spacious bathroom. Our host was very gracious and helpful, driving us to the train station on our checkout date when it was raining. She also gave us excellent suggestions on areas to visit - something very useful as it was the first time we visited Switzerland. We will definitely stay there again if a future opportunity arises.
