Mario gave us extremely warm welcome when we checkin, and the thorough experience of our stay was so beyond expectation： Our room was next to the room where President Bush stayed. It had a big window facing the lake which allowed us to oberserve the double rainbow appeared in the early morning. Strongly recommend everyone who comes to Brunnen to stay here, especially the lake side room.

The manager and his wife were wonderful! We ended up eating every mean overlooking the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We got to know the waiters and they were so kind. We went for a day into Lucerne, and the manager recommended the best restaurant, Brasserie Bodu which we have since passed on to friends visiting Lucerne. Very friendly staff, they allowed us to leave our bags in the hostel safely during the day even after check-out and even lent us two umbrellas for the day (rain was expected). Exceptional cleanliness and great location, great value for money.

I rarely give 10 star review, but this hotel definitely deserves it. For the price I paid, the quality and the facilities are exceptional. Many other accommodations in Switzerland in the similar price range are just B&B or guest house style, but this one is a 4 star hotel with swimming pool and jacuzzi. The hotel provides many items in the room: mini fridge, safety box, bathrobe and slippers for the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. The room is spacious for one person and the mattress is super comfortable. The terrace of the restaurant of the hotel faces the lake with beautiful landscape. The hotel is simply so good and I don't want to leave at all. I definitely recommend to everyone!

Scandinavian style of relative minimalism with lots of elegance and thought put in it. Very clean and neat, wonderfully equipped common kitchen available to guests. Very nice chill area with books. Seem it's also kids-friendly. And again, very clean! This place was a little jem we didn't expect to discover and would love to go back. The only minus is the bunk beds, or it's actually a plus, depending on personal preference.
