Location was unbeatable. Right on the beach with first class views of the sunrise, sunset and horses buffalo and locals as they went about daily life. Absolutely stunning authentic experience set in luxurious design and stylish interiors. Exceptional welcome, the owners enjoying the surf everyday and inviting us to join made it all feel so wholesome and heartfelt. This place is more than a hotel, it’s someone’s love letter to the island of Sumba and the passion project is infectious. Didn’t want to leave this serene and magical place: thanks for having us !

El Lelewatu Resort Sumba ofrece WiFi gratuita y habitaciones con aire acondicionado en Watukarere. What a wonderful destination. This was one of the highlights of our time in Indonesia. The hotel is gorgeous and the villas are large, cozy, nicely designed, with the ocean waves, creating a nice atmosphere. A nice terrace outside where we opted to have breakfast every morning. We used the private pool in our villa every day. We did not want to leave the room to explore the island at times. The staff in particular were incredible and they did their best to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Very avaible via Whatsapp for anything we needed. Always with a smile. It will stay with me for a long time. Their breakfast and dining in particular were a highlight :)

Mario Hotel and Cafe se encuentra en Weetebula, a 15 min a pie de Playa Mananga Aba, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y restaurante. What a gem in Sumba. A slice of paradise. All the staff were amazing and particularly Aloysius William who was painstakingly thorough in helping me navigate flights after the airport was shut due to volcanic ash. He kept me updated with news on flights which was so comforting. Dewi was also amazing but then all of the staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool is a gem and the beach is pristine and perfect for early morning walk. I wil be back!

We love Asia and spend every year a month or more in the region. We found Three Queens exceptional for three reasons: First the location on the amazing and basically empty Rua Beach in beautiful Sumba. Second our hosts Lidya and Brad together with their three daughters and extended family pampered us throughout our stay with food and advice. Third, the four villas in traditional Sumba style are not only very beautiful, but also furbished and decorated with style and every detail is thought through.
