It is a pity that cables are in this view as seen from the rooms but you can go up on the flat roof for an unobstructed view. It is not very far on a nearly flat road to the ferry to Onomichi so it makes a good last night if you are cycling from Imabari taking several days as we did. We had a comfort Japanese style room.

Mr Kazu (the owner of the villa) was absolutely amazing! He helped us a lot renting bicycles, doing some shopping, transferring the luggage and getting into the villa - excellent contact via booking.com. The villa itself is located in a very calm neighborhood next to the sandy beach. It is a perfect location to relax and have a nice bicycle ride around the islands. The villa is very well equipped and big enough for 6 persons.

Cheap and cheerful and very good value for money double bed with room to move, fridge, private bathroom, aircon, close to ferry for island trip like Okunoshima. I liked the fact that you got an actual key for a change. Yes, not the modern way but less to remember - put key in, turn and you’re in - simple. And a harbour/river view. The FULL BUFFET breakfast was included. Someone in comments complained it was Japanese breakfast What the?? There was so much choice including bread to make toast, juice, coffee, yoghurt, veggies, pasta, fish, rice, sausage, egg. All included in the $60 room price. I challenge anyone to do better!

Προσφέρει καταλύματα 2 αστέρων και έχει δωρεάν ποδήλατα. the staff at hotel yassa are amazing and kind. they gladly accepted our bike boxes and held them while we cycled the shimanami kaido. they were accommodating and always with a smile. some staff speak great english and are very helpful as well! location is literally right next to the train station. great place to land.
