Our host was fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any requests. The property was ideally situated near local amenities, so everything we needed was just a short walk away. Plus, there were so many activities to enjoy, from scenic walks around the island to boat rides and exploring the rich history of the area. It was truly a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Lamu!

The place is stunning, the decor feels like its out of an interiors magazine. The staff is top-notch and Thomas is a rock star who I loved talking to. Breakfast is exceptional with freshly baked produce daily.

Kijani is a charming little hotel in Shela, well located to discover the village on foot, and the nearby islands by boat. It has everything one needs for a perfect holiday; provides a quiet and peaceful backdrop. We loved the flexibility of management (even with last minute issues), return boat transfers included in the price, amazing breakfast and restaurant. Fantastic staff (management, reception, cleaning team, restaurant, kitchen, guards, in short: EVERYONE): kind, attentive, all while being respectful of privacy. We have stayed elsewhere in Lamu and Kijani truly stands out. Thank you.

Immanuel was incredible, helping us with directions, turn down service, recommendations and breakfast. The home itself is beautiful with great amenities and especially views of the city.

Super cozy, spacious, full of light, with all amenities, drinking water, non stop electricity even during power cuts, great ventilation, chilled vibe and above all a constant support by Chris and Reuben, who have been great in all terms and made us feel like home. Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa, que cuenta con piscina al aire libre, jardín y salón de uso común, ofrece alojamiento en Shela con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.
