I liked that the house was right in the middle of community houses, which made me feel more connected to the old town. The breakfast that Arnold made was amazing and I really liked the vibe of the place. There were plenty of dining places nearby and all of the host's recommendation was 10 on 10.

Kijani is a charming little hotel in Shela, well located to discover the village on foot, and the nearby islands by boat. It has everything one needs for a perfect holiday; provides a quiet and peaceful backdrop. We loved the flexibility of management (even with last minute issues), return boat transfers included in the price, amazing breakfast and restaurant. Fantastic staff (management, reception, cleaning team, restaurant, kitchen, guards, in short: EVERYONE): kind, attentive, all while being respectful of privacy. We have stayed elsewhere in Lamu and Kijani truly stands out. Thank you.

Immanuel was incredible, helping us with directions, turn down service, recommendations and breakfast. The home itself is beautiful with great amenities and especially views of the city.

Sai Shanti House es un alojamiento que se encuentra en Lamu, cerca de Mnarani House. El alojamiento está a 3 min a pie de Manda Beach y dispone de wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Very warm and friendly reception. Beyond expectations! We were initially doubting to book due to a false comment of bathroom privacy issue, but we took chances and had a lovely stay, bathroom/shower is separated with locking mechanism from both sides. Host is super friendly, and greets/welcomes from Jetty, and even from Airport offers pickup service, which feels like home. We broke a glass accidently and they were cool about it too. Very accommodating, always at service to take us around as historical alleys there don't show up in Maps. We will return for sure.

Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa, que cuenta con piscina al aire libre, jardín y salón de uso común, ofrece alojamiento en Shela con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Mangrove House se encuentra en Lamu y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, zona de playa privada y terraza frente a la playa, a pocos pasos de Manda Beach. Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!
