Located close to the beach, the homestay is very welcoming and has a beautiful garden where one can sit and relax. The rooms were clear, equipped with kettle and fridge and very comfortable. Would highly recommend the place. The host is very helpful and prepared a very good breakfast for.us.

I loved this small personal hotel. It has 4 bedrooms and it was just perfect. A cute pool that was big enough to keep cool, but you could also swim even if not an Olympic size..The staff are so friendly and if you wish will address you by name. I loved the fresh baked fruit bread at breakfast, my personal choice of a yummy option. Made by Susan in house. The beach is right outside the second area of the property. Local to other places to visit and eat if you are out for the day. It's such a lovely place to stay, I will be returning on my next visit.

I like just everything! Its not possible to not like something there, staff are so great ,they make sure you leave Sri Lanka that it's best country on planet . Hotel room is so beautiful, view from my room will never leave my heart ,I love each detail of this hotel ,art everywhere ! The room was amazing and soooo clean. There was AC, a warm shower, a big bed, good wifi. But the best part were the people. Such a warm family that made you feel welcome and safe! And they make the best food!

This villa was absolutely beautiful, it’s just been renovated to a very high standard. The whole villa has a stunning design and is very modern, it’s of outstanding quality, and extremely clean. The walk in showers are amazing, the bathrooms, bedrooms and living area are all beautifully designed. The villa is decorated to perfection, with Sri Lankan furniture and beautiful Sri Lankan paintings. You get the entire apartment on the top floor to yourself, and there is a private entrance to the top villa and a kitchen area. This villa is very private and has a lovely swimming pool in the garden. Rosa and her daughter Zara runs this property and they are wonderful, very hospitable people, they speak English and German fluently. The breakfast was delicious, with so many different combinations of Sri Lankan and continental with plenty of fresh fruits. The location is very nice and quiet, and in walking distance to the beach. Aluthgama is just up the road and has plenty of shops, restaurants, banks/ATM a good train station, and buses that run past every 10 minute. You will also love Billy the dog, he’s such a friendly dog and a big part of Sunny Villa. I highly recommend this property it’s very good value for money.

We had a stay of one night after our stay at the other villa of Shameera. Also this Villa is a great place to be, really fantastic. Once again, the host Shameera is a wonderful guy. He is so kind and polite, he helped with everything. eg giving some really good hints, what to do and what kind of activities are good to join. It was our pleasure to stay in this Villa also and also to meet such a great person like Shameera. Thank you for everything, you have done for us. We booked this on short notice 10 minutes before we arrived and were super happy that the owner is so flexible. The accommodation was super clean and really nice. It’s right at the beach and beside a great restaurant. Everything was clean and the host was really friendly. We felt comfortable and great to stay here. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views. Amazing feeling right on the coastline, therapeutic. The room is quite spacious and the bed is very large and comfortable. They have a small store on site that sells snacks and drinks for low prices. You can also order breakfast, lunch, and dinner from them, very authentic, fresh, and affordable. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Cannot say enough good things about the hosts. Some of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. Extremely generous family. It was a very joyful and peaceful stay, at a very affordable price.
