A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

El Kitelantis ofrece alojamiento frente a la laguna en Kalpitiya. El establecimiento cuenta con instalaciones para practicar deportes acuáticos y piscina al aire libre. Beautiful place, in front of an entrance of the ocean. Protected from winds. The resort is amazing. Rooms are big, new and clean. You’ll get an outdoor rest room, being able to shower outside underneath the palm trees, but with all the privacy. It’s just priceless. The resort has a pool, bar, and dining area, all overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast is very good and included, being able to choose between Sri Lankan or Western. You also have a set and changing menu for dinner if you’d like to. Staff is very welcoming, kind and accomodating. It’s an amazing place to stay and relax. Totally recommend it.

Great location close to beach. This area SL low key not all built up, quieter! The great breezes make it kite surfers paradise, and the breezes make the huge covered porch a nice place to hang out.. The family that manages very helpful, content & beautiful. They make good food, and help arrange local needs. The first night I stayed in budget room, but then upgraded for 2 nights to the larger cabana because it has better cross ventilation & surfaces to put things on. Both size rooms have your own porch with cushioned seating. Neither rooms have a/c but you don't need it with the good breezes & room fans.
