Uno de los lugares más bonitos en los que me he quedado nunca!! Leí en los comentarios que los dueños eran buenísimos, pero la verdad es que son excelentes. 10 de 10!! El desayuno es riquísimo, la finca es preciosa, tienen una playa privada con el mejor atardecer. Se ven miles de luciérnagas por la noche, es mágico! Está súper cerquita del puerto. Puedes alquilarles la moto e ir por toda la isla. Mil gracias por todo, Daniela y Tony ❤️

El Bamboo Cabins se encuentra en Balgue y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas al lago. La experiencia en Bamboo fue EXCELENTE. Es como un cuento de hadas. Las fotos no hacen justicia a lo bellas que son las cabinas. Es como estar en un paraíso, y a un precio súper asequible. Después de disfrutar de las cabinas incluso me pareció muy barato. Las cabinas parecen básicas pero están súper equipadas, la cocina funciona genial y la presión del agua es excelente. El wifi también va muy bien y las camas son comodísimas. Gran valor por precio y sin duda volvería y lo recomendaría. Es como estar en una cabaña de lujo. Fue precioso ver el amanecer y el atardecer desde la ventana, en nuestro caso la habitación tenía vistas al lago, y fue de ensueño estar envuelto en el sonido de las olas. Además Che, el anfitrión es súper agradable. Se desvive por su proyecto y le pone mucho esmero a apoyar a las comunidades locales y hacerlo todo sostenible y eco friendly. Además due súper disponible a la hora de darnos información, consejos y buenos contactos para las actividades de la isla.

Finca La Magia dispone de vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Se encuentra en Ometepe, a 5,4 km de Volcán Maderas. Hay una zona de estar y de comedor en todas las unidades. Absolutely loved staying at Finca La Magia! It's such a beautiful and quiet spot, the staff was incredibly friendly and all facilities and rooms were spot clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor showers and the pets were adorable as well

Rocks Beach se encuentra en Balgue, en la región de Ometepe, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The location is fantastic, right on the shore of the lake and at the same time just a minute walk from the main road and restaurants in Balgue. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable too. There is a functional kitchen, two hammocks, chairs for the shore, candles for the night, and kitchenware too. Really has everything you need.

Hospedaje Bananas tiene vistas al jardín y se encuentra en Altagracia. Cuenta con restaurante, cocina compartida, bar, jardín y terraza. Hay wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Bananas was great, I highly recommend it, would stay there again.

Hostal Así es mi Tierra se encuentra en Balgue, a 12 km de Volcán Maderas, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

Xalli Beach Hotel se encuentra en Altagracia, a pocos pasos de Playa de Santo Domingo, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. The location, the staff, the breakfast, the mellow beach a few steps away from the hotel room. It was all incredible:) all the staff were wonderful but special shout out to Karina at the front desk, she was seriously EXCEPTIONAL. I would trust her with my life jaja.
