I just stayed at ARAW and honestly, I didn’t expect this room to be that good. At first glance, the photos make it seem small but once you’re inside, you get it. The room is long, clean, quiet, and super cold (thank God for the A/C). It’s about 2 meters wide and 6 meters long which sounds narrow, but the layout actually works really well. It feels private, comfortable, and somehow calming. The bed? Super comfortable, firm but soft in all the right ways. Slept like a rock every night. What really stood out though is how clean everything was. You can tell they really care. Even the house rules were clear, helpful, and made sense not like those weird “don’t breathe” lists you find in other places. The WiFi was fast, no issues I was working and streaming during my stay. Their scooter rental was also a huge plus the scooter is literally brand new, rides smooth, and cheaper than anything I found in town. And the host… wow. You don’t feel like a stranger here. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was being welcomed home. Everything was easy, warm, and respectful. No weird small talk, no pressure. Just real human energy and genuine care. Location-wise, it’s in a great spot close to everything but peaceful. If you’re coming to Siargao and want something clean, quiet, and really well-managed without spending a fortune this is it.

Copacabana Siargao está en General Luna, a 7 min a pie de Playa General Luna y a 1,2 km de Guyam Island. Nice modern clean room, great value for money. The location is great, just off the main road of restaurants and bars but still quiet. Erwen was fantastic, so friendly and helpful and would arrange any trips, transports or bike rentals for you. Would definitely stay here again. P.s we loved Erwen’s Hawaiian shirts!!

Jaydy hostel está a solo 1,2 km de Guyam Island y dispone de alojamiento en General Luna con jardín y salón de uso común, además de servicio de habitaciones. Jaydy is an amazing host. Went out of his way to help all of his guests and was just an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Made for a really fun stay Plus the hostel was really clean and the beds and pillows are so nice

Shey's Travellers Inn se encuentra en Mambajao, en la región de Mindanao, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. This place is a jewel! Abigail and the rest of the family are the sweetest people, so generous and working hard to make the guests feel comfortable. The common areas are located on the waterfront, it’s so relaxing. A social yet calm vibe, with guests from all ages. Great to have access to the kitchen, I cooked most of my meals. And the whole place is kept super clean at all times. A small tip: it quickly books out, but due to transport issues it happened several times during my stay that there were unoccupied beds. It could be worth inquiring on the day if you couldn’t get a spot.

ALON CLOUD9 Beach Front se encuentra en Catangnan y dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. We had such a great experience staying at ALON Cloud 9 Hotel. Even before we arrived, Julius got in touch with us to help arrange our airport pickup, which made everything so easy. He was super friendly and helpful the entire time, always ready to give us tips on where to go and what to see around the island. The rooms were really spacious and pretty — we loved how clean and fresh they were every single day. Big shoutout to Edna and her team for the amazing breakfast every morning. It was such a nice way to start the day. And the location? Perfect. It’s right in front of the Cloud 9 boardwalk, and the best part is that the hotel has its own private entrance to the beach — no need to pay the 100 pesos entrance fee every time. That was a huge plus!

Mantaray Siargao se encuentra a pocos pasos de Playa General Luna y ofrece piscina al aire libre y jardín, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. Los dueños son una adorable familia que nos acogieron como parte de la familia desde el primer momento. Las habitaciones son preciosas y están perfectamente limpias, además de ofrecer un servicio de limpieza diario. Cuidan al detalle la decoración de las habitaciones y todo funcionaba correctamente. Las vistas son impresionantes, ya que desde la piscina se puede observar Guyam Island y Daku Island. Joseph y Elvira nos ayudaron en todo, ya que además de proporcionarnos una lista de recomendaciones de restaurantes, tours y demás, nos aconsejaron en todo momento sobre cómo aprovechar la isla al máximo durante nuestra estancia (donde poder aprender a surfear, rutas…). Cabe mencionar que pudimos celebrar una pedida de mano inolvidable, ya que mi pareja se lo comentó a Joseph y Elvira para poder aprovechar las impresionantes vistas de la Villa para ese momento tan especial. Joseph se comprometió a construir un arco nupcial precioso y decorado por él mismo, lo que resultó en un precioso gesto y detalle por su parte. Por otro lado, Elvira ayudó en buscar una fotógrafa profesional que pudiera captar el momento especial de la pedida. No tenemos ninguna queja sobre nuestra estancia, ya que después de haber estado en Filipinas anteriormente, este ha sido sin duda el mejor alojamiento que hemos tenido junto con la mejor compañía que es una familia encantadora. Esperemos poder volver a Siargao algún día y que, sin duda alguna, nuestra estancia vuelva a ser Mantaray Siargao!! Nunca olvidaremos esta preciosa experiencia que ha sido gracias a Joseph, Elvira y Lala.

La piscina es muy grande y bonita, el jardín para acceder a las habitaciones es bonito y está bien cuidado, la cama muy grande y cómoda, el personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar, la habitación es grande y limpia, tiene secador, todo cuidado al detalle

Bahandi Hotel se encuentra en General Luna, a pocos pasos de Playa General Luna y a 2,3 km de Guyam Island. Ms.Veronica and her staff were very accommodating and helpful.. highly recommend 👌

Fat Lips Surf Lodge se encuentra en General Luna, a 8 min a pie de Playa General Luna, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. The property was tucked away from the main road, so was very quiet at night! You can tell it is a new building, as the rooms are beautiful and very clean! There is a lovely communal kitchen which we used a few times, it has everything you might need. The hosts are very responsive and kind. They have a beautiful dog named Tiger who hung out with us a lot. We loved our stay here and wish we had stayed longer!

Yapak Beach Villas se encuentra en San Isidro, a pocos pasos de Pacifico Beach, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. We loved it here and couldn't have chosen a better place on the island to spend Christmas. The staff are all amazing and really help to make the place feel like a home away from home. The villa was really comfortable and spacious, and by the end of our stay it really felt like home too. The view from the villa was beautiful and even when the weather turned it was great to have a covered area to sit outside and watch the waves. The food and drinks from the restaurant were always great and never disappointed us, and we ended up eating here so often that we pretty much tried everything on the menu. All the staff are so brilliant, but Romeo on the front desk is especially great at going above and beyond and couldn't have been more helpful from start to end of our stay. Elsa is also brilliant, and always served us with a smile. But again, all the staff members were brilliant, and I'm just sorry we didn't get a chance to know more of them by name. We hope to come back to the Philippines and Siargao again in the future and will definitely be looking to stay at Yapak again when we do - for sure the best all rounder resort on the island in our opinion.
