Just when I thought the hotels in Senegal couldn't get any more scenic, along comes NAFI'O.  The location of this hotel, right above the sea, is staggeringly beautiful. It's a short walk down to the water (very rocky, so not for swimming, but you can sit comfortably in the splash zone for some refreshment).  The hotel is situated in front of the massive old stone walls of the island, and is quiet and serene. The gardens on the property are so, so pretty. Plants and trees and birds and butterflies abound! My room was small bit very tidy, and the bed was comfortable.  The proprietor and her family were friendly and helpful with anything I needed.  The island is really small, so all restaurants, museums, the ferry port, etc. are a quick, max 20 minute walk.  What a wonderful stay - thank you NAFI'O 😊

Very welcoming and ready to help when needed. The security was always present and helped with taxis and loading luggage. The whole building was spotless and well taken care of. I had a refrigerator issue that was taken care of quickly.

Djeridjef !! The decoration of the hotel is exquisite, like a journey through the heart of Africa. Comfortable room and bed. A great refreshing swimming pool for the hotel guests to use anytime. A delicious breakfast, charmingly prepared.

Its fantastic and secure location, right in the heart of Dakar's downtown, makes it perfect for exploring the city. The staff (from the reception and restaurant to housekeeping)went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay, even helping us deal with a taxi driver who tried to overcharge us. Their friendly and attentive service made all the difference. Breakfast was great. The restaurant offers a variety of cold options and allows customers to order eggs made to their liking. It is also open late and serves meals throughout the day if needed. Overall, this hotel is a true gem in the vibrant hub of Dakar. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service!

Το Luxury 3BR Apt Near Ngor Beach Balcony & Wi-Fi προσφέρει κλιματισμό. Βρίσκεται στο Ντακάρ, ενώ απέχει 700μ από Παραλία Ngor Rights και 3,3 χλμ από Golf Des Almadies. Relaxed, fun atmosphere. (We were made to feel so welcome.) Nothing was a challenge for our host, Elie. The apartment has everything you could possibly need for your stay, and if not, Elie can source it. Also, there was a 5-star cleaning lady who came almost every day. She was very kind and unintrusive, just keeping the apartment in pristine condition. The apartment felt luxurious just as described and looked even better than the pics. We tried many excursions(quad biking, pink lake, lion safari, toursit attractions..are to name a few) with the fantastic, dedicated help of Elie... honestly, we had so much fun. Leaving here feels kind of sad. 100% I would love to return here and to Senegal. There is so much more I'd like to see and do.

Sama is a must stay if you’re ever visiting Dakar! Property is only 4 months old as it recently opened in 2025. The decor is exceptional from the lobby to the rooftop. The property is filled with African art and artifacts. The rooms are modern and have balconies that face the ocean. We even had a chance to meet the owner and he was kind and generous after we wanted to extend our stay. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Dakar.
