Located in the very center of Kildare, Silken Thomas is not a family run B&B, but greets you with a warm welcome anyway! We enjoyed the lovely and unexpected experience to lodge in the nearby Virgina Lodge, in the wonderful Kate Room (each room is dedicated and has a personality). Very large, comfortable, stylish room, the biggest bed ever and everything you can ask for: sincerely jaw dropping! Breakfast not included, but very well cooked in the restaurant a few steps away. Parking was free adn away from the street, located just behind the Silken Thomas restaurant and pub. I would surely come back and recommend Silken Thomas.

Very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Felt relaxed straight away. comfortable bedrooms and beautiful decor throughout the house. Fabulous breakfast selection, and able to help yourself throughout the day. Beautiful setting with woodland on your door step for walks.
