The rooms were great, spacious and with AC and Fan. Very comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and always available to help. It has an amazing swimming pool, with a generous swimming area and a jacuzzi.

Talalla Beach is about a 12-minute walk away along a relatively quiet street. Compared to other beaches on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, it is less crowded, making it a peaceful spot to relax.

Surf Lodge Madiha dispone de jardín, zona de playa privada, terraza y restaurante en Matara. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Feels like a slice of luxury for the price. High ceilings, super spaces villas, felt like a real nice homely spot. So clean, comfortable and stylish. Just 5 mins to the beach and some nice local spots to eat at near by. Would 100% recommend this spot. Family and owner were really lovely and attentive but offer space and privacy as well Also the WiFi is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Thanks so much!

We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!
