We had an amazing stay at Alaqur View Inn in Nizwa. The room architecture was beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with a traditional touch. It truly added to the charm of our experience. The inn is perfectly located right behind Nizwa Souk, making it extremely convenient for exploring the market, the fort, and other nearby attractions. Before our arrival, we were provided with clear and detailed instructions and directions to the property, which made getting there hassle-free. One of the most thoughtful touches was the warm Omani hospitality—we were welcomed with traditional coffee and delicious dates upon arrival, and they were offered to us every time we went in and out of the hotel. Additionally, their rooftop offers a stunning view of Nizwa, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the city. The staff—Raghu, Dil, and Ibrahim—were incredibly courteous and always ready to help, making our stay even more pleasant. A special moment was when we received a thoughtful little gift upon our departure, handed to us by the owner’s adorable son, Jibran—a heartwarming gesture that made our visit even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place with great hospitality, stunning architecture, a prime location, and a beautiful rooftop view, Alaqur View Inn is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it and would love to visit again!

Wow what a find! I cannot recommend this place enough. To put it in words borrowed from Aladin - it truly is a “diamond in the rough”. Loved the hotel, cafe and the village ruins!

Despite it being the low season, he greeted us warmly and made us feel truly at home. He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman. If you’re looking for a genuine experience in a charming and peaceful setting, we strongly recommend staying at Ahmed’s guest house. It was a highlight of our trip
