The owner couple were great. Super friendly. They went above and beyond helping us. We had the entire first floor with a large, very comfort living room and kitchen. This was a nice suite for an amazingly low price. I’m willing to pay double what we paid, without any hesitation, to stay there. We had to move to another place the second day because there was no room available at Cory & Torfinn House. We paid nearly double at that another place, with shared bathrooms and no one there to do anything for you.

I have been staying in a lot of homes in many places and this is one of the best home I have ever stayed in. The home owner had been super nice and helpful from pre arrival to post departure. The home is well equipped with all the things you need (washer and dryer) and you never thought you will need (like hiking stick) 😂 The only small issue is if guest is using public transportation to reach the place is quite a bit of uphill walk. But I don't mind the struggle as the home is so awesome. But if you are driving or using taxi, this won't be an issue at all.

The room was a spacious suite. The bed was comfortable, the heat and water were great, the hostess is kind and helpful and tries hard to make it a home. Groceries are nearby and all highway connections are close. A 25 minute walk from downtown, which is about right. Annilise brought us flowers and chocolate!

We had a wonderful experience staying in these apartments. They are conveniently located for traveling around the western and northern parts of the Faroe Islands. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay, a cozy terrace with a view of the fjord, a spacious living room with a fireplace and a panoramic window. Awesome apartment, spacious, comfortable, with well equipped kitchen, in calm area of the capital. It's short walking dystans to the harbour and old town. There is free parking place next to the apartment, some supermarket next door and cool cafes/restaurants few minutes by walk. Very good contact with the owner before and after arrival, self check-in.

    I wasn't sent the code to get in and had been messaging back and forth. I waited outside quite a while before they answered my message and I could get in.....had to wait in my car down the street while it was raining quite heavily. It is a VERY small place but it was great for just me! Had it not been raining, I would've loved to sit out on the little patio with a glass of wine. Great view of the village church and river. There is a grocery store not far to stock up on supplies for lunch and dinner.

    The village is nice and offers some beautiful hikes; the guesthouse is a cozy home with everything I needed, the room itself is quite small but the shared living is spacious and confortable, there is also a well-equipped shared kitchen. The host was always responsive and flexible.

    Very good quality /price ratio. The common room and dinner area looked very nice. The person that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking. The property is 5m from the last(the red) roundabout in the village as you exit the roundabout in the direction of the airport in case you do not find it over the gps(that was our case)
