This was my third time at Andrew home. And as always, it was a very nice stay. Everything was perfect. I was picked up. My room was, as always, very clean and you have everything you need. The shared guest kitchen is a great place to socialize with other guests. It is only 10 minutes to the center of Thamel. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The accommodation has a nice Nepalese flair. Thanks to the host for this wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

Having come eight times to Kathmandu, Nirvana Kuti is the best place I ever stayed in Kathmandu: Just a few steps south of Durbar Square, you can enjoy authentic life of the city - so close and at the same time so far away from the tourist area. This place and neighbourhood feels completely safe also for solo women travellers. During the day, the street is bustling, during the night it is completely calm. The house is newly built, the room is nicely designed, the lamps give a warm light and the beds are very comfortable. Everything is spotless clean. The WC with shower (solar heated water) is private and you can also enjoy a small kitchen for making tea or coffee. Even drinking water is provided! There is a safe possibility for leaving your luggage while trekking (2 dollars/day). The owner is very friendly, speaking excellent English, he is extremely helpful and responsive to your questions and demands. You can also book a pick-up from the airport. NIrvana Kuti is the ideal place for independant travellers, I am looking forward to come back as soon as possible!

My stay in this place was excellent. Extremely friendly staff and I got upgraded to a very beautiful room with a private bathroom and amazing view. I loved the shower with hot water and the view from the rooftop. My host was all the time there, smiling and helping me with everything. I really recommend this hotel. It was my best deal between price and quality in Nepal with the best attention.

We came to Kathmandu by night bus and checking in early in the morning was not an issue at all. Very nice and helpful family. We got the room on the rooftop which is very beautiful. The bathroom seemed pretty new.

The overall feeling is like to have a sleepover at your friends house. Welcoming family, always smiling and have kind words to everyone. The owner prepares the breakfast and after asking where can we find mangoes she bought for us the next morning. Michael & Pema, along with their little son, became like family to me during my stay. The warmth and kindness they showed made my time there unforgettable. The hotel itself is incredibly well-maintained, with spotless rooms that are comfortable and cozy. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the attention to detail in every corner of the hotel is evident. I always felt at ease, knowing I was staying in such a well-kept space. Not to mention that the homemade food, was always fresh, delicious, and healthy. The hotel is conveniently located near the iconic Buddha Stupa, but it's nestled in the peaceful neighborhood of Ramhiti, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. This makes it the perfect balance—close enough to explore the Stupa and the city, yet far enough to enjoy a calm, quiet environment. The friendly local community around the hotel adds to the charm, making you feel like part of a real neighborhood. Overall, I can't recommend Boudha Apart Hotel enough. Whether you're staying for a short time or a longer period, you'll find a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. All meals I had very very homemade delicious. I tried new things and new flavour's. Also the added time spent with Mira and her family is great and got to know a few things about their culture. Also the location is great for me because its located on the outskirts of the city so it was quiet and shanti. I would go back and stay here for sure.
