The room was smaller but very nice and clean. It was a short walk to the beach. The owners are very nice and listened to our requests. I recommend it.

I had the best time here!!! The apartments are so beautiful and you feel at home as soon as you enter it. It’s made with much love and has a beautiful design. The location is of course a bit off but you have 2 restaurants in walking distance and so many nice beaches around. Out of all my accommodations I had in CR this was my favorite. Also the owner is just the best person ever! Such a warmhearted, funny woman, always there to help if you need anything! :))

Residencias Samara se encuentra en Sámara, a 5 min a pie de Playa Sámara y a 49 km de Parque Nacional Barra Honda. Lovely, smart apartment! Very comfy bed. The studio was perfect for a couple and had everything we needed. Pool area was great too. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.

We fell in love with this quirky little spot the moment we arrived. Three vintage caravans have been transformed into the most charming accommodations we’ve seen, and we’ve traveled to over 70 countries, staying in many hotels, including many boutique and luxury ones. We stayed at the Avion, but Argosy and Airstream looked as lovely. Positioned perfectly, just meters from one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches. Several good restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a small grocery shop. Even more restaurants to choose from in nearby Samara, just 5-minute drive away. La Caravana is intimate, magical, and utterly unique. I would recommend it to a friend!

The staff were friendly and available to help with any questions. My fav spot in CR so far!
