The host (Johnny) and his wonderful parents (Nuie Nuie and Claude) immersed me in French Polynesian culture which has left a strong and lasting impression on me. The self contained facilities in the villa were very good. The villa is situated at the water's edge. It was so easy to engage in snorkelling and swimming. I was even invited to partake in a community group canoeing practice session which was memorable. The villa is situated approximately 13km from the centre of the town, in a quiet location near the botanical gardens. There are lots of additional activities available which can be arranged or advise sought by Johnny. Can't wait to return.

The time they took to explain to us where we have what. The houses are big enough and cute. Very nicely furnished and carefully laid out. By far the best stay in French Polynesia. Free laundry line dried by request was appreciated. At the end of the driveway we bought fresh Bonito from a local's eski for 1500 f, then cooked on induction element and it was delicious.
