Sparkling clean and beautifully decorated apartment with plenty of space to stretch out. The artistic prints depicting various places in Tasmania added some nice local color. I'd love to buy some for my own home! The kitchen was well equipped for preparing simple meals and the town's IGA supermarket was just a 3 minute drive away. It was surprisingly well stocked with fresh fruits, veg, and meats/fish.

Nice practical and comfortable setup. Perfect place to stay after a hard day's motorbike touring with a couple of mates. Beautiful 10-15 minute walk to the main part of town along the waterfront. Wonderful

This was a different sort of stay for us. A historic hotel from about 1898 that is being nicely refurbished and is being run with more of a B&B feel. We opted for the large room with "mountain view," which had a separate sitting room overlooking the street attached to the bedroom (by a tiny step I kept forgetting about). The owner, Ralph, was friendly and fun to talk with and put out quite a breakfast buffet on the old hotel bar. We would happily stay again.

This property was a gem. The listing photos do not do the property justice. Everything from the freshly baked bread to the nice bottle of red. The spaces are generous and comfortable. Beds were excellent. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this property. I'll be back for sure.
