It’s well located if you are driving. Next to a canal and a beautiful forest with a back road that takes you all the way to Bruges. Rooms are clean and silent , bathroom has a good size and the staff is super friendly. It’s the perfect place for a couple to spend the night when visiting the region. Free parking is available.

We were greeted on arrival with generosity and friendliness. The room looks out on to open fields, and it is in a peaceful neighbourhood. The large bed was very comfy and there is a smart TV where you can connect to Disney, amazon prime and Netflix. The owners offered a continental breakfast, as there aren't many breakfast options in town. The location just outside Bruges was perfect, and with parking all day at about 13 euros in town, this is a great place if you want a quiet place out of town to stay, with off street parking. An electric car charging point is within walking distance, and we left the car overnight to charge. There is seating outside of the room.

The staff were amazing and responded very quickly to anything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the houses was redone very nicely. The toilets and showers were separate from the rooms but there was plenty of them and we never had to wait to use them. The rooms were very clean and cozy. Our dog was welcome and we always appreciate that. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful setting. I will definitely be coming back for another visit.

Just a beautifull spot! I stayed there with my dog and this was just great. Plenty paths to walk in the forest. Lovely area, beautifull castle, comfortable apartment. Very close to Brugge and actualy to loads of places to see. It was so good that we stayed for another night.

It's not really a hotel, but a house turned into a B&B. There isn't a reception or staff around, but they contacted me via whatsapp to let me know how to access the room. Irina (I think that's her name) goes to the house to prepare breakfast, and she's very helpful and friendly. They assisted us via whatsapp when needed. The room is really beautiful, and the bathroom looked like it'd been renovated recently. Breakfast was also great! Location is also good enough. It's a 10min-walk from the city center. But everything is beautiful in Bruges, so I didn't mind the walk at all.

    This is such a lovely place to stay. The location is a few miles from the nearby small town. Kathleen made us so welcome. Such a lovely lady. The ground floor room was perfect for my 91 year old staying with us. Very disabled friendly. A rare gem. Breakfast was well.. just delicious.. Fresh perfect boiled eggs! All better than home!! Could have relaxed and stayed a few days. I want to go back 😊

    I liked everything about our weekend away. The location was just perfect for me as I like a quiet place that is also a few minutes from the city. The house itself was beautifully decorated, very clean, very comfortable beds. I slept like I was in my own house. The host is a very nice and flexible host. You will also find the house equipped with everything you might need for your stay. All in all we had a great weekend at De Bijenkorf.

    The couple who manage the hotel are very helpful and friendly. It is in a lovely spot next to the canal and cycle route. There is a restaurant and bar next to the hotel which is ideal. They can provide breakfast which was very good. We were on a cyling trip from Dunkirk to Amsterdam and it was great for us as it was on the route. They also have secure bike storage
