Perfect location. Remarkable architecture of the hotel. The staff is very good and responsive. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean.There are two fast elevators and we didn't have to wait. The roof terrace has a beautiful view at any time of the year. Gisela and Celestine were fantastic hosts. The house was pristine clear, the bed was very comfortable and they were very helpful not only with check in, parking, breakfast, but also gave a lot of tips and good stories about Basel and their own lives.     Hard to criticise - very friendly people, quiet location but bear in mind your "tourist tax" gets you free travel on the excellent trams, trains and buses, so it's very easy to get anywhere you need to go. Perfectly clean, good breakfast and overall very good value for money for Switzerland.
