The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

We loved the place, just 2 minutes walk from lake where you can enjoy beauty of vitznau and also swim. Jeroen is best host, they have arranged everything you can need during your stay. Spacious duplex with comfortable beds and a balcony where you can enjoy barbecue. There is also private parking. Will come back for sure.

The people there are just too friendly and nice, super accommodating. Room was ready when we arrived at noon, appreciated it lots! Everything just so clean, great breakfast with bread and spread, tea. Eggs. Fruits, yoghurt and cold cuts. The room feels like it’s newly renovated? It doesn’t feels like family run hotel at all, I see their effort in modernizing their hotel.

We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred. Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!
