We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

The view from the room was great! The pool and bar area are very well designed. There is great potential in this hotel. The room on the top floor has amazing views and the terraces are quite pleasant. The rooms are not yet fully furnished, but they are large enough, cozy, temperate, well-finished. The bed was so comfortable that we overslept each day! There was no annoying noise or music from our room.

Everything. The lodge itself is beautiful, with amazing views of the rainforest (which - no exaggeration - looks like paradise on Earth.) Hosts (Franz and Ani) were very friendly and helped ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Also Ani's delightful Latin jazz playlist was rivaled only by her excellent cooking - make sure you opt for eating meals at the lodge, they were delicious and reasonably priced. Moreover, they are truly a part of the local community, and through them we met some wonderful local folks, got to enjoy their hospitality, and try some of their products - from raw chocolate and Sacher cake to various magic potions! All in all, this was one of the best holidays I ever had.
