This property is absolutely beautiful. A few minutes walk from town, the common area and rooms are stunning and we felt so relaxed and well taken care of during our stay. Margarit and her staff were all so lovely and helpful with making recommendations and booking tours/taxis. The breakfast was delicious, our favourite of the trip so far.

Being located away from town and right in the middle of nature, the property brings us away from the distractions of everyday life and back to the simplicity and beauty of nature. Love being surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, including the forest, birds, agouti, tayra, fireflies etc. The property has an open view of the cloud forest and numerous birds can be seen around the property, including vultures, kites, toucans, parrots, tanagers, hummingbirds etc The owner is kind, accommodating and attentive, and does his best to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. Lovely, large and modern apartment, which was spotlessly clean, in an excellent, quiet location near Mindo town centre. It is in a safe and secure complex, looked after by the manager Ronny, who was really lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he was always around to let us in or out, including for our early morning starts for bird watching trips at 5am! We had the "family apartment with balcony" which provided a relaxing private sitting area, overlooking the peaceful inner courtyard, which has a small pool. The apartment also had a kitchen with a 4 gas burners, a microwave oven and large fridge freezer, as well as flatware, and a few cooking pans and utensils. The kitchen was very handy for us to prepare meals, although the complex does offer breakfasts to purchase. In Mindo, there is a mini-market 5 minutes walk from the hotel which sells a good range of food and alcohol, and many other shops as well.

The hotel is very new. Just 2,5 years old and in an excellent condition. A lot of wood. The lodge is quite outside of Mindo and therefore nice quiet and you can see a lot of birds. The service is very kind and helping wherever they can.

The location was close to town and the bus stop to Quito is less than 10min walking distance. The staff were so warm and accommodating. I didn't want to leave. The room was as per described in the description. The TV has Netflix already set up so you can enjoy some entertainment. This came in handy for me as the only day I had for activities was a wet one, so I stayed in and loved every minute. Not sure what previous people were complaining about with the breakfast. It was a good balanced breakfast enough to keep me full all day and the juice was fresh made. I didn't like egg yolks and the staff went out of their way to make my eggs differently the next morning. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the accommodation. It is a shame I didn't get to try the pool.
