Just a little out of town in the countryside. A wonderful welcome from our hosts, secure parking for the bikes. A fridge for our use, hot showers, lots of towels. Comfy bed, able to use kitchen to make simple meal. Lots of fun with English/ Italian snd French spoken at breakfast. And lovely little well behaved dog to engage with! 😁

We only spent one day here as part of our road trip, but we had an absolutely fantastic time at La Maison de Judith! Nathalie and Olivier were the loveliest hosts, and the traditional French dinner and breakfast they prepared for us was absolutely delicious. The beautifully renovated French house and its surroundings felt like a pocket of calmness, a real hidden gem. The garden and surrounding land instantly put us at ease after the long car drive. We’d absolutely recommend staying here, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

What a lovely stay! Kevin and Etienne were such welcoming and helpful hosts -- before and during our visit --suggesting places to visit, helping us arrange transportation, even supplying me with a large plastic bag to protect my jacket and backpack when a rainstorm blew in. The beautifully renovated historic house, including carefully chosen appointments, was yet another layer of enjoyment. We're so glad that we opted to have dinner because it was one of the best we had in our two weeks of walking in France and Spain. (Beyond sharing great recipe tips, Etienne even incorporated rosemary from their garden when we mentioned that we like it.) Needless to say, we hope to return!

The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. Very rustic, very French, spacious and full of character. But the best thing about our stay was MARIE. She is simply wonderful - kind, attentive, chatty. She cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning of eggs, crepes, fruit, pastries, fresh bread. And we got to know about her and her husband, making fresh jams from the fruit in their garden. We love Marie (and the little doggo Petune!!!)
