Fabulous little cabin. Whoever designed it deserves praise. All the accessories are smartly and meticulously arranged in the limited space. A family of four could sleep there with no problem. The location is excellent, just 10 minutes from Ashbourne.

I had a lovely staff at Butterhouse. What a location - from my room there was a beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise over the frosty fields. The bedroom itself was warm and cosy, the bed had a great big mattress and a warm and soft duvet and pillows - I slept like a baby :) The hosts, Pam & Maurice, were exceptional. They picked me and dropped me off from the nearby town of Trim, and even gave me a lift and back to my appointment. They were welcoming, friendly and great to talk to. Also, the continental breakfast the next morning was delicious and abundant. I highly recommend Butterhouse!

We had a really warm welcome.the place was calm,clean and quiet.the place had various snacks and everything you need,like in a luxury apartments.One day when we returned to apartment get a pleasurable surprise of croissants and berries on a table with a new lamp,that gave us a really warm Christmas vibes.I recommend everyone to stay in this apartment.

Lovely friendly welcome. Perfect location for us. The cherry on top was the amazing food for breakfast. We were certainly treated like royalty with the homemade, home-grown food. It was absolutely delicious and the staff were so friendly and attentive.

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding in Ballymagarvery . The rooms were adequate for our needs . The breakfast was beyond our expectations, eggs from their own hens , berries from their garden and a variety of bread ,straight from the oven..All served with friendly warmth and generosity .

Anne couldnt have been anymore helpful. Very friendly and certainly knows how to make an unreal breakfast! Location is fantastic for anyone who may have a wedding in Ballymagarvey which is just across the road. Room and bathroom were spotless

Lovely friendly owner. Room was excellent , very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing , delicious granola and lots of home made breads and muffins and jams, followed by cooked breakfast. Lots of choice on the menu. You definitely won't go hungry ! Very close to the Ballymagarvey village, we stayed after a wedding and this was an ideal location.

Anne was so lovely to deal with. We had a beautiful studio with a comfy bed and a large bathroom with a full-length mirror , a big plus for getting ready for a wedding in Ballymagarvey Our room was spotless with plenty of space, The breakfast is next level 10/10 such a lovely treat, lots of home grown produce and freshly baked sweet treats, Would highly recommend to family and friends and would definitely return again.
