It is so comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We loved the views and especially also that we could bring the dogs with. The room had different levels of lighting and you could even connect to the speakers inside the room via Bluetooth

Lovely house in a quiet estate just on the outskirts of Rooskey, nice neighbours, and what a beautiful area it is, with plenty of dog walks. Beds were very comfortable. Garden was perfect for our dog, she had great fun exploring her surroundings. This was her first stay away from home. Co-host Eliza was very welcoming to speak to on the phone and told me to phone her if we needed anything, but we did not need to, as everything we needed was in the house. Thank you so much and we are looking forward to a return visit.

Location was fabulous, rural setting very close to main road. The hut itself was perfect, cosy feel but spacious inside and also well kitted out. I also arrived quite late and Craig was very accomodating. I'll certainly be back for my next visit to Longford!

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, good room and facilities, great food and drink. Great location at the end of the Royal Canal. Secure bike storage. And even provided my friend with cloth and soapy water to wash his bike.

A beautiful home, spotlessly clean, very pleasant host, the house was very well stocked with breakfast goodies, toileteries, and clean towels. We really enjoyed our stay very comfortable , little walk i to the town were we had a beautiful meal in the purple onion

Beautiful location, fabulous house with beautiful views of the marina ,the host David was very welcoming ,and left us some staples..bread milk butter and cakes,the house was spotless and the beds super comfortable, plenty of room for a family of 7, we will definitely be back in the near future 😊 Thank you.

Our stay at Shannonside exceeded our expectations! David ensured we had everything we needed and was a fantastic host. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is very scenic, right on the river and within walking distance of some great pubs and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!
