It’s really great value for money. While the cheapest accommodation on the island, you have everything you need. The staff are volunteers, so very easy to connect with everyone as they are likeminded travellers. Everyone speaks perfect English. So spending time with the people at the hostel in the evenings is also really enjoyable if you like to socialize. The beach is super close - closer than any other hostel. And it’s still also close to all the restaurants, the pier etc. The owners are a super nice English couple who have taken on such a cool endeavor to fix up an abandoned place and enrich the island with another sweet home for backpackers and volunteers.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Koh Rong for backpackers. Location is great just behind the lagoon, easy walk through the jungle to beach, pier and parties. Perfect base to experience everything the island has to offer and chill after a long day. People working there are the best and can help you with anything. Beds are nice and common area is lovely, food is good too. Dorms are quiet and good to sleep in if you dont want to be staying in the noisy party places. Its a short walk from Long Set pier if you take shortcut not visible on Google maps through beach and lagoon bridge.

We LOVE the place. Everything is made with great detail. Staff are very friendly. In this place you are literally in front of the Beach. Food in the restaurant is good as well. For New Years Eve, Ratana brought us balloons with candles to release and fireworks. Location is great if you want to relax. A/C, Hot water, towels, you can rent scooter ($10 per day).. We stayed almost a week there and we recommend It. We would stay here again.
