What a perfect place to stay! The rooms are fantastic, the location is great and you feel like you are in a magical place! We spent there the new year and it was so much fun, we celebrated with the stuff and it was one of our best and unforgettable memories from Sri Lanka! In addition, Ishan, the manager, is truly an amazing person who will help you with everything! I felt sick during my stay and he was so emphatic and helpful in the situation, and him and the rest of the team made our stay unforgettable. Eventhough this property is listed in the (2021) lonely planet, it or its owner havent lost any of their charm. Flawless place with clean rooms, a decent breakfast and a superb host. Both rocks can be reached by foot and there are plenty of food optins in the area. We would come again for sure.

Fun place to stay! The owners were really characterful and friendly. It's right in the jungle and the garden is like a jungle too. The room was great, very clean, hot running water and really well kitted out rooms - Good AC, a stocked fridge with cold drink minibar type setup, kettle, tea/coffee, a big washing bowl handy for washing clothes. The entrance to Sigriya is directly opposite the access road to this place - you could not stay any closer, so ideal for an early morning start up the rock. The Breakfast here is absolutely stunning, 18 different items, all cooked by the host in the morning, hoppers, pancakes, little omelets, jaffles.. it just keeps coming out! We had our own tuktuk so driving around, going out at night wasn't a big deal, and the owner can easily organise a tuktuk pickup as this guesthouse is set back into the jungle. A 5min walk from main road in the daylight but maybe not something to try in the dark. We would happily stay again!

It is a brand new family run Hotel in an ideal location, very close to the Sigiriya Lion Rock. The rock is visible from the hotel! Lovely owner/ family were very attentive to all our requests. They even arranged a superb safari for us on request. Very safe for solo/ female travellers as well. Mr. Asanka deserves special mention as the chef. His Sri Lankan dishes are a must try! Well worth the price! Will definitely come back!
