This is a really neat and stylish hostel. Everything was constantly kept clean and tidy. Rooms were in great shape with modern equipment, comfortable and warm. The kitchen is spacious and provides plenty of everything for cooking and food storage. There is also a coffee machine and free tea. Best of all is the host who was super friendly and helpful. He provided us with great recommendations for daily trips around the island, what to visit, how to get there, popular highlights and germs off the beaten track. His effort was just amazing. We enjoyed our stay here very much. During 8 months of travels this was one of the best hostels we stayed at, and we would come back to the place at any time.

ALMA CHILOTA, que tiene jardín, terraza y vistas a la ciudad, está en Castro, a 18 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores. Esta casa realmente tiene alma. Todo es hermoso: la vista, la decoración, las habitaciones y los espacios comunes. El personal es muy amable y hace todo lo posible para que la estadía sea agradable. El desayuno es excelente y muy variado.

Hostal Palafito Waiwen se encuentra en Castro, a 18 min a pie de Playa Sabanilla, y dispone de terraza, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. This is really a wonderful place, super clean, cozy but with good common areas, amazing comfortable beds and warm at night. Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

Great place with a lovely terrace, seagulls as company when tide is high, 15' walking to get to Castro and pick one of the routes of magic Chiloé. Vero, the owner, is helpful and friendly and for sure will make you feel at home.

Hotel Mitos está en Quellón y tiene terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis. Algunas unidades del alojamiento tienen un patio con vistas al mar. El hotel es muy lindo, con un encantador estilo sureño en madera que lo hace muy acogedor. Las habitaciones son cómodas, sencillas y cálidas, perfectas para descansar. La atención de todo el personal es excelente: amables, cordiales y siempre muy atentos. El restaurante, además de tener un ambiente muy agradable, ofrece una comida exquisita. El desayuno es delicioso y muy completo.

Hotel Aliwen está en Dalcahue, a 16 min a pie de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y bar. Great staff nice breakfast and a wonderful view from our room

Cabañas y hostal Aurora está a 1,9 km de Playa Sabanilla y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y cocina compartida. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. La casa de Pamela es preciosa, nos sentimos muy cómodos en todo momento, la habitación y las camas son muy agradables. Pamela y su familia estuvieron muy atentos y nos ayudaron a solucionar un problema que tuvimos con el auto, incluso llamaron al vecino por lo que estamos muy agradecidos. Toda la experiencia estuvo increible, gracias!!!

I loved everything about this Hostal...The location was perfect-across the street from the bus station....My room was large and clean and sleep quality was excellent...In this Hostal guests have the use of the kitchen where coffee,tea and hot water are always available...The staff really made my stay enjoyable.I want to mention Richard who was very helpful to me,even telephoning the next place I was going to in order to confirm my reservation....I want to mention Ricardo at the reception desk also....Ricardo,from Italy 🇮🇹, was also friendly and helpful...This is a lovely place to stay...Top marks...10 out of 10
