I stayed in a cabin that exceeded my expectations. It's a beautiful place located in a wonderful spot. The owner was very friendly and prepared a delicious breakfast.

The hostel is situated in a perfect location in the village center. Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. Supermarket, bakery, Best Coffee and the company for booking rafting and other tours are at walking distance. In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!

They were very eager to make our stay comfortable and make sure our needs were met. We were especially impressed with Tomas' mission of being eco-friendly and developing education labs to help locals.

A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Very familier and kind hosts. Very nice, styles and arranged haus. It was easy to find the place, closed parking was provided in front of the house.

Το Villa Calas είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στο βουνό που βρίσκεται σε Vara Blanca. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, μπαρ και κήπο. It was everything more than perfect!!!! Area is miraculeus, the whole complex unique, the team is so friendly, professional and ready to support you in any issue!!!! The offer in restaurant for breakfast and dinner is unique, as well, with all fresh ingredients, from meat, vegetables, caffee… it is a natural oasis with wonderfull people!!!!!!!

Το Eco Guest House- Sarapiquí 2 έχει θέα στο βουνό και προσφέρει βεράντα και ηλεκτρικό βραστήρα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος La Paz Waterfall Gardens είναι περίπου 35 χλμ μακριά. Wendy was really helpful, lots of advice and organised a great white water rafting trip. Extra for breakfast was worth it!

Το Mirador Prendas έχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Sarapiqui. A very special and incredible place to visit. You will need a good car to get there, but you will not be disappointed. It is a huge tree house stretching through the native forest as it is built into the forest. Great for bird watchers and frog spotters. Great hikes between waterfalls and around local fields and villages. Very caring staff will book local tours for you and will look after you with a high level of hospitality. The rooms are very big, the bed and mattress are impressive and the mosquito net is well built and spacious! We are very grateful!
