Every morning, a freshly prepared breakfast by Restaurant Isabel was delivered directly to my room—sweet and savory pastries, fruit, and juice—luxurious in its simplicity. My hosts, Léa and João, were absolutely wonderful. They welcomed me warmly from the moment I arrived, with genuine kindness and a sense of caring that made me feel instantly at ease. João is a guide, ask him for hikings! I also want to highlight the friendliness of every person I met in the area—they were open, warm, and made this journey feel safe and connected. At night, I would gaze up at the stars from my cozy funco—the sky, completely free of light pollution, felt like a universe unfolding just for me.

Hotel Savana ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en São Filipe, frente a la playa, y dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

El entorno con un paisaje excepciona, las vistas, la comida de Filomena que es deliciosa y hecha con productos locales. La amabilidad de toda la familia.

Villages on the lava field in caldera is incredible. Jose is super host. He organize pick up, cooking, tours around island. They brothers are very good gidės to climb to volcano. My big thanks to Felix. I would reccomend to stay there min. 2 nights.

Pipi's Guest House se encuentra en São Filipe y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y bar. Playa de São Filipe está a 2,4 km del alojamiento. A wonderful stay at Pipi's. A lovely place with a higher standard than your usual small B&Bs. Sparkling clean, peaceful and green, a great place to relax after long days of sightseeing. Breakfast is fantastic and Pipi can also cook dinner if you ask - I ended up eating there almost every day as the food was excellent and I really enjoyed the little bar under banana trees with an ocean view. Pipi and her husband are very warm and welcoming people and it is a real treat to stay at their beautiful home. It is located about 10min walk from the airport and 20min walk from town and if you don't fancy the walk, a taxi from town is under 2€. I stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it there!

El trato recibido me hizo sentirme como en casa.Recogida y traslado al aeropuerto información de rutas y guías.Y todo lo necesario que necesite.Sin lugar a dudas volveré.Una gran familia y muy agradecido por el trato.

Casa Colonial Koenig está en São Filipe, a 2 min a pie de Playa de São Filipe, y dispone de piscina al aire libre, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis y bar. La ubicación es inmejorable. El personal superamable.

Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura está en Portela y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín, terraza y restaurante. En el bed and breakfast se sirve un desayuno continental. José was an extremely dedicated and courteous host. He provided us with reliable and personalised information, chauffeured us around and lovingly cooked for us three times a day on request. All this in an incredible location and architecture. Highly recommended!

Fogo Boutique Hotel se encuentra en São Filipe, a 12 min a pie de Playa de São Filipe, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. At first, we were a bit hesitant due to a few very harsh negative reviews, despite the majority being positive. That's why we wanted to share our own experience. We stayed in the Sal Room, the most affordable option at the hotel, and for €90, everything was perfect. The view alone was worth the price, not to mention the warm and genuinely welcoming staff, who seemed even happier to host us than we were to be there. Fogo Boutique Hotel is a small oasis on the island. While there are some limitations, it is undoubtedly the best option in the region. We will definitely be back!
