There were two glass bottles of water, very good quality cosmetics (Botanica trade mark) and it was warm and spotless clean. The self check in was with no problem, we had a parking place just next to the hotel, placed in garden, with lovely terrace, which must be gorgeous in summer time. Only after arriving we have realised that the breakfast is served from 8a.m. and we had to leave at 8:15. We contacted the staff which in no time offered to prepare the meal a bit earlier. We very much appreciated this gesture of concern. Definitely a place to visit again.

We booked the larger apartment on the last floor ( no lift, as it's a gothic authentic old palace), with private entrance, open kitchen, living room, bedroom with 2 single beds, large modern bathroom with more than enough towels and a super good hairdryer, an upper romantic double bedroom, reachable by a wooden safe staircase. The owner prepared both the kitchen and the whole flat with her ❤️, she didn't forget even the smallest detail. In the kitchen there's everything, even coffee, salt, sugar. We've been welcomed by fresh coffee and homemade apple strudel!! The fridge is better than a minibar in a deluxe hotel: if you want, for a small price, you may use all the drinks available! Our dog's been most welcome, without extra charge. They love dogs as they have a lovely one themselves. And if you wish to get a massage or a sauna, they can also offer these services in a separate premise/shop in the basement. We would like to come back, it's been a special experience, also because the historical town of CHEB is a perfect jewel, with well-maintained houses and some very rich interesting museums.
