We had an amazing time: Lovely and helpful staff, clean room, great view from the common area which are great to relax. It really ticks most of the boxes and even comes with a free gym aka the hill that you need to walk up to get there :D Laundry service and food available at extra cost too.

This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! They’re doing an amazing job with their beautiful resort, and it really shows. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back someday!

I recently stayed alone at “Mila Homestay.” From the moment I arrived, I experienced the extraordinary hospitality of the homestay's owner and manager, Dila and her husband, Michel. I arrived rather late that day, because my flight from Jakarta was delayed. I was immediately offered a complimentary dinner with martabak, which of course I gladly accepted. The room I stayed in was not very large, but comfortable with good air conditioning, stable and strong wifi, and a bathroom with hot water. Mila Homestay is located a bit on the outskirts of Padang, but that didn't matter because it was actually enjoyable to take a morning walk in the rice fields and local villages behind the homestay. I will definitely stay at Mila Homestay again if next time I go to Padang!

Although there isn't hot water for shower, the staff brought us buckets of hot water each day, and that was adequate to bathe my child. They also arranged the jungle trek for us, we were able to trek directly from the guest house. It's also located very close to the bat cave, 10-mins walk and we highly recommend visiting these caves, and with a local guide hired at the entrance. Without the guide we wouldn't have known where to go.

We had a fantastic time with Sumatra Orangutan Trek. Everything was well organized from start to finish. The jungle trek was unforgettable. We saw several orangutans, gibbons, and other monkeys. The guides were knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the environment, always respectful of the wildlife. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home right away. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. A perfect way to experience the jungle in a responsible and memorable way.

Very nice owner family and the view from the terrace was just awesome! Dinner was delicious and if you just have any questions they are more then willing to help at any time on any topic! We wished we could have stayed longer!
