My modestly sized room was efficiently organized with a window looking out at the ocean. While it was a bit blustery to take advantage of the big outdoor ocean facing deck, the property has a living room with abundant light. The young couple running the place had a full house when I was there, 2 young kids, and a dog, but they still made time to prepare delicious homemade scones for the self-service breakfast plus check in with their guests daily. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and comfy. Communal lounge area was comfortable and relaxing and well stocked with reading material about the area. The manager kindly ran us into town in her car. The lodge had a beautiful view. Could walk to a lot of things even though town was a car trip. Loved the location! On site bike hire was fantastic!

The property has an outdoor dining area. Wonderful place to stay. We were two couples the downstairs room was tiny so the bed was a full but I slept great. The whole house is lovely and clean. The view is stunning. I was concerned because we had a later ferry and didn’t have time to run to the market and we were pleasantly surprised to have fresh bread milk and eggs to make breakfast with. I will try to stay here on my next visit. We all loved having space to hang out and enjoy our trip.
