Everything about Killaran house was exceptional from beginning to end, from checking in to checking out. Breda the host was truly amazing. She was professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to seek on advice on places to eat. The location of the Killaran House was so central, within a few minutes of walking distance of central town and plenty of parking on the property. The family room was spacious, bright, airy and a pure delight, better than any hotel room. Tea and coffee making facilities available 24/7, as well as toiletries if you should forget anything. Definitely my family and I will be staying again with Breda on our next trip to Ireland. 7 stars 🌟 without hesitation. Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. Great rooms, on the ground floor, were so comfortable. Staff were happy to accommodate requests, and provide vegan options at breakfast and dinner. Super comfortable chairs and sofa in suites. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the Jacuzzi bath was a great, luxury addition. Maura, the other reception staff and the breakfast staff made us feel welcome and appreciated, and were happy to accommodate our requests. The Ivy Lounge has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff there were professional and efficient, and attentive without being fussy. Our party included 1 vegan, and we tried most items on the menu during our stay. All our choices were very good. Will definitely recommend to friends and would love to stay there again.
