Lovely welcome from the owner even if we arrived a bit late - he was very helpful and careful, even waited for us outside of the hotel Very comfortable beds Very nice decor Heating working very well - most of our moroccan stays have been without heating, it’s January though so still cold at night We’ve got a free room upgrade, to a bigger one Amazing view of Chefchaouen from rooftop Parking on the spot * I would point out that the property looks amazing even if it does not have a lot of pictures online, it also has wifi so do not hesitate to book it, it is not in the medina but at 10min walk from it so you are very close anyway

FULFILLING I recommend strongly anyone if you are in Chefchaouen ....go and must stay there I wish that good things should happen to good people like them Like to see the HOSTEL PROSPER

The room was incredible. It included an authentic wooden ceiling and nice decorations. Spacious and with colorful windows. Good Internet and working fridge. Amazing breakfast and helpful hosts! Would totally stay again.

Set in Chefchaouen, in a traditional architecture, Hotel Alkhalifa boasts a terrace and a garden. It has free Wi-Fi access available in all areas of the hotel. The location could not be better, quiet but within walking distance of everything there is to see in Chefchaouene. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was large with a superb view. Very complete and tasty breakfast.

This was our first stop on a multi-city tour of medinas in Morocco in advance of our daughter's wedding in Marrakesh. We had little idea of what to expect. Our visit was exceptional. Mohamed met us at the entry to the medina and handled our luggage all the way up to our room. We were then offered Moroccan tea and sweets on the rooftop where we first saw the panorama of the Blue City. He, and the entire staff, were warm and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations for places to see and where to eat. All of his suggestions were perfect. Breakfasts were magnificent and coupled with views that provided us with a lifetime of memories. Our walk to the Spanish mosque on our final morning there provided views that will be forever etched in our minds. We had one plumbing issue that was corrected immediately. Staying there was the perfect spot to making us comfortable in Morocco and lessened any anxiety we might have had in staying at unknown to us riads. Last thing, our room had a view of the local school. That might not seem ideal to many people, but for us it was nice to hear the excited voices of young people during the day and particularly when they had phys ed or recess. If we ever return to Chefchaouen, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
