A very peaceful place with very good food. The staff was very helpful and organized us the tour through the National Park at a good price. Suraj especially treated us very kindly and provided us with all we needed.

We had a wonderful stay in the Aikawa Hotel! All the people of the staff are very friendly and treated us very well. We loved the service all the time (bus terminal pickup, tour organisation, food, help with questions). We also did two tours with the friendly guide Raj. He gave us a lot of informations about the Chitwan Nationalpark and did a very good job by spooting animals in the wild. We saw a lot of Rhinos, deers, birds, crocodiles. We can recommend to book the tours in directly in the hotel! The breakfast and the food in the lunch and dinnertime was delishes. Best food on our Nepal stay so far. For all the guests in future: Stay in this hotel to make your stay unforgettable. We will come back!

Very beautiful room, tasty food and good organization for safari! Guiding safari is very good and the price is better than at some other place. Highly recommend!

Το Hotel Butterfly - Peaceful Garden for Nature Lovers βρίσκεται σε Sauraha, σε απόσταση 2 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Tharu Cultural Museum και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο... Not a luxury hotel, but great value for money. Nice and very friendly staff. The restaurant inside the hotel has very good food and they can organize all types of safaris, buy tickets for the buses to other cities or rent bikes. But the part we liked most was the garden in front of the room, which allowed us to wake up in the morning listening to all kinds of birds, despite being very close to the center of the village and the headquarter of the natural park. Very close, just walking 5 minutes, you can also see the place where the goverment have some elephants and one night we even saw a big wild rhino passing very close to the hotel street.

Great atmosphere and accommodation from Vicky and his family! They make sure you have a great stay and enjoy your time in the Chitwan National Park area! This is the only place I will stay while in Sauraha! Could not recommend this guesthouse enough!

Προσφέρεται δωρεάν WiFi. lovely stay with a family homestay They welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home at all times. My room had everything I needed, including a well working hot shower — a real treat after a day out in the park. The inn itself is perfectly located in my opinion: You’re away from the busy main road, but both the village centre and the bus station are easy to reach by foot within a few minutes walk. When I wanted to go to the neighboring village for a little trip, they also kindly let me borrow a bicycle. I went on two walking Safaris led by Isswor who has decades of experience in the area. We were accompanied by Ram as a second guide and both of them always managed to find great spots to have some close but respectful & safe animal encounters.

Το Chital lodge βρίσκεται σε Chitwan, σε απόσταση 40 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Tharu Cultural Museum και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα και μπαρ. The family are great, the peace and quiet at the lodge is excellent, the food was very good, and the safaris were amazing. If you are looking for the creature comforts of a resort or hotel then this is not the place for you. The rooms may be spartan but they were clean. This is the place to go if you want to be away from the crowded tourist district, and value some peace and quiet. You will have a large variety of birds around your room, and maybe the occasional jackal at night if you are lucky (don't worry about them, they are great to see and go in the other direction as fast as they can if they see you). The family who own the lodge are all lovely and welcoming, and they supply some great tasting food (the nearest shops are a 10-15 minute walk away. Bishnu from the family who runs the lodge is also the safari guide, and he is great He is a local who truly loves and cares for nature, and who is very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. I went out on my first jeep safari within a couple of hours of arriving and to be honest I was not expecting to see much. I would have been happy with a few birds and just seeing the park. What I saw far exceeded that. We spotted our first rhinoceros within a couple of minutes of entering the park and saw several more (up very close). There were dozens of spotted deer, hog deer, gharial crocodiles, mugger crocodiles, macaques, wild boar, and a huge variety of birds. I went on another jeep safari two days later and saw 9 different individual rhinoceros that day as well. Some of them were within n 5 metres of our jeep. On that second safari we also saw plenty more of the other animals I have mentioned, including a huge range of birds, including some migratory species which are rare to see in this part of the world. Unfortunately I decided not to do the canoe ride or the walking safari, but have since been in touch with other tourists I met there, who said that was also a wonderful experience. HIGHLY recommended.

When I arrived i had a nice surprise the owner came to collect me from the bus station which I thought was very kind . My room overlooks a beautiful garden the staff are friendly and there’s a very nice menu too . Everything is just perfect I’m very happy .
