This place is far enough away from everything else, making it incredibly private—there's no one else around. You're truly in the desert. Also, taking an open-air shower with the moon is so cool 😄. The stuff is incredibly hospitable and they will be with you every single time whenever you need them. Mr Salim and his brother Yasir specifically are gentlemen who will always smile ☺️. The people who operate & execute this experience are actually bedouins. Truly wonderful people!!! Special mention to the amazing food that was served. Homely cooked meals met with amazing level of hospitality. I had the best Mishkak here at Moon Light Luxury Camp.

It was pretty clean and nice! I’m from a big city so I like the idea of sleeping under the stars because I don’t get to do that often

Το Royal desert camp διαθέτει καταλύματα σε Al Raka. Το προσωπικό στην 24ωρη ρεσεψιόν μιλάει Αραβικά και Αγγλικά. The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

Excellent location in the dunes- away from other camps and no light pollution. Clean well equipped rooms. Simple clean good quality food. Friendly lads running the place ! Our stay at the authentic Bedouin Omani desert camp was truly unforgettable. The sunrise drive across the dunes was breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the desert & fun music! The evening was filled with joy & some dancing! The traditional meals were a culinary delight, providing an authentic taste of Omani cuisine. Camel riding was a unique experience, and meeting a baby camel was a charming highlight. Our guide, Saeed, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring our experience was both educational and enjoyable. The camp’s commitment to providing an authentic Bedouin experience, from the traditional accommodations to the cultural activities, made our stay truly special. 

Το Desert Stars Camp βρίσκεται στον προορισμό Bidiyah. Μερικές μονάδες περιλαμβάνουν μπαλκόνι ή/και αυλή. Το αεροδρόμιο Διεθνές Αεροδρόμιο Μουσκάτ είναι 205 χλμ μακριά. The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.
