He recommended us the place nearby to heave dinner and we ended up going there twice. The view from the room was great and it was quiet. It is convenient that you can rent a bike right there. The one we rented was new and had just 2k km on it and worked perfectly, so the ride to the waterfall was smooth. The evening before the ride the guy at the reception gave us 2 raincoats saying that there might rain tomorrow and he was right, these raincoats saved us from getting soaked. Totally recommend this place.

The homestay is nicely appointed with attractive touches. There is a kitchen with two large fridges if required but there are many well priced restaurants. Location was great - very close to the river, market and the Walking Street. Our host was able to arrange a great day tour for us which took in all the things we wanted to see. There was a little bit of a mix up regarding an English speaking guide however our host kindly refunded part of the cost and also provided us with a lovely complimentary breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot with great pressure. Our room was right beside some roosters so a bit of noise in the morning - nothing to worry about really unless you are a light sleeper.

For anyone who wants a pristine clean place to stay combined with fabulous cooking, this is a must. It was our favourite food of the two weeks and the host family were lovely people. It is exactly as nice as the pictures show. Use this as your base to do a day trip to Ban Gioc, you won't regret it.

Best cleaning I have seen here, best value for money, hot water in the shower, very nice staff, very good beds, great breakfast, perfect location! (Very centeral) and perfect Air conditioner!!!
