Το Stars Gate Camp βρίσκεται σε Al Wāşil και παρέχει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, κλιματισμό και πρόσβαση σε κήπο με εξωτερική πισίνα. Excellent location, on the top of a dune in the middle of the desert. Fantastic 360 degree view. 15 rooms, outside pool very nice, very good half board plan. Rooms are excellent equipped, with terrace overlooking the desert (the fact that you do not have TV it is rather an advantage). WiFi works very well. The manager (Mr Gautam Balram) is very friendly and helpful. From the activities, we would recommend "night safari and star watching" (ask for Faisal as your guide). Difficult to get there with your own car (do not attempt if you do not have a real 4 motion car and you are not an experienced driver). Aim for the sister camp (Arabian Oryx Camp), and ask the reception there to guide you for the last km, since google maps are not accurate. Parking is free. We would recommend to spend at least two nights there. One night it is not enough.

Amazing Desert Experience – Peaceful, Clean, and Unforgettable! I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

We had such a great time at Thousand Stars Desert Camp. The place is absolutely beautiful — right in the middle of the dunes, super peaceful and perfect for watching the sunset and the stars at night. Our tent was cozy and comfortable, and everything was really well taken care of. But what made the experience truly special was Ali — he’s such a kind and genuine host! He made us feel completely at home. If you want a real desert experience with great vibes and an awesome host, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely come back one day!

To Desert Diamond Private Camp είναι σε Badīyah, σε Al Sharqiyah, και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. The stay at Desert Diamond Camp was excellent! Sultan picked us up from the meet point and took us to the camp and we were welcomed with a campfire and fresh tea and coffee! The tents were vary spacious, clean and cosy, and the bathroom facilities clean. The next morning we walked to the sand dunes and the children did sand boarding. Sultan especially and the camp staff ensured our stay was comfortable and we highly enjoyed our stay in the desert!

Overall experience was so good. Views are just spectacular. Rooms are very cleam and cozy, especially for a camp in desert. Food they provided are tasty as well (I brought my own food which was never used). Staff are very welcoming and truly friendly. Totally worth the money!

Rashid, the owner, is a wonderful host. He has received us with great hospitality. We appreciated good food, committed staff, interesting talks during dinner. A very pleasant stay all in all!

If you want to experience the proper beduin lifestyle and sleep in a beautiful tent but still have the comfort of a bed and a private toilet this is definitely the place to be. There are other camps in the area with more amenities but the we loved the authenticity of this place.
