We had an absolutely amazing time at Popochos. The location is just 10min outside of Nuquí but it feels like you are in a remote nature paradise. The beach in front of the cabañas is several kilometers long and you barely see any other people there. The cabaña was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable one in our trip through Colombia so far. The food is tasty, the fruits organic from their own garden and we absolutely loved the free coffee and water. The tours we took were amazing and we even went fishing with Hugo and caught so many fish. We can recommend staying at popochos and we will definitely come back. But what really was outstanding was Hugo and Neila and their family. They were so kind and went above and beyond to assure that we would have a good time. They even organized a surf board for us! We honestly didn’t want to leave and felt like we had made new friends.

Se encuentra entre la selva, el mar y el río. Las habitaciones son cómodas, la comida que está incluida en el precio del hospedaje es deliciosa y el personal es maravilloso. Las habitaciones son lindas y espaciosas. Creo que es uno de los mejores hospedajes de la región, con una excelente relación calidad precio.

Cabaña Casa Cielo se encuentra a pocos pasos de Playa El Almejal y ofrece jardín, además de alojamiento con balcón y wifi gratis. Probably the best place to stay in El Valle. The cabin is situated high in front of the jungle and beach. Very cosy place and great hosts.

Hostal El Chileno Sapzurro está a pocos pasos de Playas Sapzurro y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, bar y cocina compartida. Hay wifi gratis. Alberto is very nice and accommodating, happy to help with anything you need. The room we took in front of the sea gave us a beautiful view and some very welcome wind every once in a while. The location was perfect - far enough to always be quiet, close enough that nothing takes over a 4 minute walk.
