This place is just amazing! The volcano view is breathtaking, so many birds and animals to watch, beautiful trails right there, the pool was really nice and the restaurant and food was so good. It was the best place for us in Costa Rica and we will get back there for sure!

This was our last stop before heading out of Costa Rica and my heart ached at the thought of leaving! The cabins are in a row of about 4 or 5 and cannot be more private, romantic, and lovely. Check in was incredibly easy and the staff made sure to give us the necessary information. The location is slightly out of the center of town, which is exactly what we were looking for. Something a little secluded, accessible, and a romantic end to our trip. Not to mention on the road to La Fortuna Waterfall (4 min drive) a 10 min walk to the rope swing (local bathing spot) and on a road with a good amount of restaurant and shopping options accessible on foot. Falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest animals (instead of the music and party-vibe of downtown La Fortuna) was exactly what we needed. The cabin is spacious, impeccably clean, and the shower was massive! You even have a little terrace with a table and chairs where we finished our nights sipping on local beer and observing butterflies, birds, and trying to catch bats. The drive into town was about 8 mins so incredibly accessible and we certainly saw people doing it by foot. I dream of this cabin and can't wait to go back!

The bird tour run by Paolo was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The conditions weren't perfect -, low cloud and some drizzle - but we were still able to see and learn a lot with Pablos patience and guidance. The night tour was also a success very imformative. We had lunch and dinner at the lodge the 3 days we were there. They offered a good selection of well prepared meals so this was not a problem.
