Wonderful apartment – ​​fully equipped kitchen with all eating and cooking utensils, dishwasher, stove, microwave, large fridge and freezer, spices. The host even prepared all the necessary food for our first breakfast (and not only breakfast), and there was a bouquet of freshly cut roses on the table. Large dining table in the room, an equally large dining table on the terrace, a huge terrace that covers practically both rooms and the kitchen, board games, two large TVs, 3 beds that can sleep 5 people. There is a grill on the terrace. Very clean apartment, it is located 4 minutes drive from the lake swimming area. By car you can drive high into the mountains in 4 minutes, where you have a fantastic view of the mountains and valleys. This building is located on the edge of the town – it was very quiet at any time of the day, cars practically do not pass by, people do not make noise. 1 hour drive away is the famous village of Lauterbrunnen with waterfalls - we recommend visiting. The host is very helpful, friendly, responsive. We have never met a more polite host. Those who do not live in Switzerland - you may be surprised that the tap water is very tasty and does not need to be filtered. The apartment is located 1 floor above the ground (actually ½ floor), which is very convenient when staying here with children. We usually travel with our own pillows - next time we will leave our pillows at home - because these are very comfortable. There were many hangers for clothes, there was an umbrella, walking sticks There is free parking right at the door.

Chalet Oasis - Your Alpine Hideaway se encuentra en Bürglen, a 22 km de Catarata del Giessbach y a 33 km de Estación de tren de Lucerna, en una zona donde se puede practicar senderismo. This is a great chalet to stay in and has pretty much everything you could think of to make for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The hosts have thought of everything. The chalet was clean, comfortable, roomy and well equipped. The view from the balcony was wonderful, especially watching the red kites whilst eating breakfast. I only cooked for 2 nights but found everything I needed in the kitchen. Netflix was available on the TV (own login required) The area is nice and quiet. We came on motorcycles, so having a covered parking area bay was useful. The local Lungern Lake is the most gorgeous colour and very much worth a swim or two, as we did. It is only 10 mins walk away with toilets and seating. We got most of the shopping from the supermarket in Giswel which was about 10 mins away on the motorcycle. But we also got some provisions from the local farm shop, only around 10 to 15 mins walk above the village. The hotel at the bottom of the road was quiet expensive, but the food was excellent and the staff very friendly, so we ate there twice because it was within walking distance. There is a lot of information supplied in the chalet for things to do, We were mainly motorcycling around the alpine passes which is an absolute must because the views can take your breath away. Furka pass was a bit scary though! We did however walk all the way round Lake Lungern but there are many other walks from the door. All in all, we are really glad we stayed here and would not hesitate to recommend it.

The chalet was beautiful and much larger than pictured. Incredible location with amazing views of the town and mountains. The host was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again.

Romantic private superior Swiss Chalet with Hottub, que tiene jardín y terraza, dispone de alojamiento en Lungern con wifi gratis y vistas a la ciudad. Simplemente impresionante. Nos dejó sin palabras. Es una casa ¡PRECIOSA!, mas romántica imposible. Tiene 2 plantas y un patio donde hay un jacuzzi de leña. La sensación de estar en el agua con el olor a madera y el sonido de la leña es indescriptible. La casa está cuidada al más mínimo detalle. Tiene absolutamente todo lo que puedas necesitar. La cocina extremadamente equipada. A parte, tiene otra estancia independiente con el cuarto de la lavadora. Os pongo algunas fotos de lo que os digo y una de la vista que tienes mientras estás en la bañera o en el jacuzzi. Si el alojamiento es perfecto, el anfitrión no se queda atrás. René es una persona muy agradable y servicial que no duda un momento en ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. La privacidad está más que asegurada. En pocas palabras, un sitio idílico. Si os lo podéis permitir, no dudéis ni un segundo en ir.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Arni Alp Hotel in Saxeten last week, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless and welcoming. The owner personally offered free pickup and drop-off from Wilderswil, which made arriving and leaving completely stress-free. That thoughtful gesture set the tone for the entire stay — warm, personal, and attentive. The hotel itself is a gem. Our room was superb — spacious, spotlessly clean, and filled with rustic alpine charm while still offering all the modern comforts we could want. Waking up each morning to breathtaking mountain views from the window felt like something out of a postcard. The peacefulness of Saxeten is unmatched; it’s the perfect escape from busy tourist areas while still being close enough to explore the region easily. During our stay, we enjoyed hiking trails that start right from the hotel’s doorstep, leading through meadows, forests, and up into the Alps. Each walk revealed another stunning panorama — from snow-capped peaks to lush valleys dotted with traditional Swiss chalets. It was impossible not to stop every few minutes just to soak in the scenery. The services provided by the owner went far beyond what we expected. From offering local tips on the best routes and viewpoints, to ensuring everything in the room was perfect, to creating a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, we truly felt cared for as guests. The kitchen facilities and common areas were excellent as well, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. In short, our stay at the Arni Alp Hotel was unforgettable. The combination of a superb room, stunning alpine surroundings, and the exceptional hospitality of the owner made this a highlight of our trip to Switzerland. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and memorable alpine escape. We can’t wait to return!
